Dean and Jill Berg met while attending Bible college in 1988 and were married in August 1989 in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.
They spent fourteen years in full-time ministry as pastors and missionaries and have owned and operated a successful marketing company since 2007. They also provide leadership and counsel on three church boards.
Drawing from the lessons of their own marriage, Dean and Jill help couples navigate barriers to intimacy and communication. They are both certified marriage coaches through The Marriage Coaching Academy, founded by Dave & Ashley Willis, and provide Christ-centered coaching for couples seeking growth and a deeper connection.
Together, they lead marriage events that combine biblical truth, practical wisdom, and honest stories from their own journey to help couples grow stronger.
In addition to their marriage ministry, Dean is passionate about helping men embrace vulnerability and build authentic brotherhood through The Honest Man events. He helps men have conversations that matter, develop genuine friendships with other men, and become more connected, trustworthy, and intentional husbands.
At the heart of their ministry is a desire to support pastors, strengthen marriages, and encourage the local church.
They also share marriage encouragement, practical relationship tips, and faith-based advice through their active social media community, Marriage Talks with Dean and Jill, on Facebook and Instagram.
Dean and Jill have three adult children and five grandchildren and make their home in Atlanta, Georgia. When they’re not engaged in ministry or business, they enjoy serving their local church, spending time with family and grandkids, gardening, relaxing at home, and loving on their two dogs.
